Christmas : Thank you to Shaun (Father Christmas) and his staff (Eleves) Who very kindly donated chocolate selection boxes and spent time spreading festive cheer on behalf of Father Christmas at the end of last term. What a fantastic job they did , as always.
A very very big thankyou. Thank you also to the Preschool Committee for donating the Christmas gift books which were also distributed by Father Christmas.
A final thank you to all the parents & carers for kind donations of food etc for the children’s Christmas party and especially those who helped the staff on the day , greatly appreciated. The children had a fantastic party.
School Bags : Your child should now have a red preschool school bag – Please do ensure the bag is bought into school every day as newsletters ,sound books and your child's work goes home in the bags. Please do also put your child's show & tell item in the bags and any letters you may have for the preschool. The bags are emptied daily by staff.
Has your child bought in any show & tell items so far this term? If not why not ? At our registration children are now encouraged to have discussions. Show & tell definitely helps the children’s discussions and in some cases can bridge the gap / transisitions from home to preschool. We really need your help , parents , to help the children bring items in. Please can you encourage your child to bring items in their bag , named , for us to discuss in small groups & with friends. You will have received a sheet “Suggestions for Parents - Themes for Spring 2012” details are also on our website.
Notice Board – Parents Information Folder / Box - You will find next to the Parents notice board a box labelled “Parents Information” In this box you will find information such as prospectus , opening times, policies and procedures, daily rountine , uniform order forms, lunch payment forms, various information for your reference and use. Please do read & access. Please also ensure you read regularly the Parents notice board which is located in the entrance lobby every day.
Week Commencing 23rd January Bus Trip “Transport” week will are hoping to have a bus trip to Flitwick. We are venturing out to the wider community - Should you wish you child not to attend or would like join us on our journey , please see a member of staff by Wednesday 18th January. Thankyou.
Please ensure when you arriving and leaving Preschool you close and bolt lock the outside the gate. Help us to Keep the children safe please.
Week commencing 16th January – Please can your child bring in a baby photo for discussion and to be displayed on a display board – We will return the photo , however please do put child's name on back. The theme for this week is “ Babies” We will also be having a visit from a newborn baby this week. Yes a real one. Any baby pets out there?
